Asphalt delivery delays work until the end of the 12th calendar week
The pedestrian and cycle path along Oberndorfer Straße in the southwest residential area of Griesheim will likely remain closed until the end of the 12th calendar week. This is due to delays in the delivery of the asphalt needed for the final work.
According to the city, the contracting company is currently experiencing difficulties in procuring materials. Therefore, the closures on Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße and Marie-Curie-Straße (coming from Oberndorfer Straße) will remain in effect.
Access only from the direction of Sophie-Scholl-Straße
Residents were informed in advance that access to their properties is only possible from the direction of Sophie-Scholl-Straße.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted from Flecksweg to the east side of Oberndorfer Straße. A safe crossing is possible at the pedestrian traffic light towards Magdalenenstraße. Access to the retail stores is possible again by crossing the road at the roundabout.
