Lectures, discussions and service on ecumenism in Eberstadt
The ecumenical working group Eberstadt invites you to this year's ecumenical week from March 11th to 15th. Under the topic of "spirituality - longing - practice", exciting lectures, discussions and a joint service are on the program. The events take place in the Haus der Christuskirchengemeinde, Heidelberger Landstraße 155.
The ecumenical working group Eberstadt: Together across denominations
The ecumenical working group Eberstadt was launched in 1991 and is committed to the cooperation of Christian communities of different denominations. The initiative was created from a joint project in the "Year with the Bible 1992" and has established itself as a permanent institution in Eberstadt since then. Among other things, members include the Catholic parishes of St. Georg and St. Josef, the Evangelical Christ Church community, the Evangelical Trinity Community, the Evangelical Parish Darmstadt-Eberstadt-Süd, the Evangelical City Mission and the Christian Association of Young People. Together they organize church services, conversation evenings, concerts and numerous other events to promote inter -confessional exchange. Program of the ecumenical week 2025
- Tuesday, March 11, 7:30 p.m.: Opening with a keynote speech by the theologian and writer Christina Brudereck from Essen.
- Wednesday, March 12, 7:30 p.m.: Panel discussion with impulses from the audience, moderated by Pastor i. R. Dr. Stefan Kunz .
- Saturday, March 15, 6:00 p.m.: Completion with an ecumenical service.
The series of events offers the opportunity to deal with questions of spirituality and to experience Christian community in its diversity. All interested parties are cordially invited.
