The Ecumenical Working Group Eberstadt: Together across denominations
The Eberstadt Ecumenical Working Group was founded in 1991 and promotes cooperation among Christian congregations of different denominations. The initiative originated from a joint project during the "Year with the Bible 1992" and has since become a firmly established institution in Eberstadt. Members include the Catholic parishes of St. George and St. Joseph, the Protestant Christ Church congregation, the Protestant Trinity congregation, the Protestant Darmstadt-Eberstadt-South congregation, the Protestant City Mission, and the YMCA. Together, they organize worship services, discussion evenings, concerts, and numerous other events to foster interdenominational dialogue.
