Digital media now available on a new platform
The Griesheim city library's online lending service has moved to a new platform. Under the name "Onleihe 3," digital media are now available in a revised format. The service remains free for library card holders.
Access is available via PC, smartphone, tablet or e-reader – around the clock and from anywhere.
E-books, audiobooks and more
The digital collection includes not only classic e-books but also audiobooks, videos, magazines, newspapers, and learning programs. These media can be borrowed online and used within the respective loan period.
Users of the previous Onleihe 2.0 will also find their borrowed media, reservations and watchlists on the new platform.
New features and apps
The new version of the online library (Onleihe 3) aims to be more intuitive to use. New features include a loan history and the ability to extend loan periods.
Apps for Android and iOS devices are available in the Play Store and App Store, respectively. These must be installed to use the service on mobile devices.
