Insights into funeral culture and bereavement support on March 15th
On March 15, 2025, Kahrhof Funerals invites you to a special open house under the motto "This is about life and death." Visitors will gain insights into saying goodbye, grief, and pre-planning in an open and welcoming atmosphere.
A diverse program offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about farewells, grief, and funeral planning in an open and respectful atmosphere. In addition to keynote speeches, guided tours, and creative hands-on activities (painting coffins, screen printing workshops, and more), there are insights into various aspects of funeral culture: from supporting grieving children, sustainable funeral floristry, and the five stages of dying to contemporary burial sites and the importance of funeral pre-planning.
Among the special guests are Filou the dog , a trained grief counselor , and cemetery clown Irene Levant opens up new perspectives on saying goodbye with her play "A Melody"
Another item on the program is the welcoming address by Heike Hofmann , Hessian Minister for Labour, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs, who is accompanying the day as part of the statewide day of the funeral director trade in Hesse .
Take a look behind the scenes and talk about the difficult things when they still seem easy. Details about the supporting program can be found at: www.kahrhof-bestattungen.de
