Art, crafts and music at the Geibel forge on September 20th and 21st
On September 20th and 21st, 2025, the Eberstadt Citizens' Association host its eighth annual "Open Studio – A Journey into the World of the Senses" event at the Geibel blacksmith shop, located at Oberstraße 20. Artists and craftspeople will present intricately detailed and unusual one-of-a-kind pieces made from materials such as wood, ceramics, and other substances. These objects can not only be admired but also purchased.
Exhibition with accompanying program
The exhibition is open on Saturday from 12 pm to 7 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Food and drinks will be available: visitors can enjoy grilled specialties, savory dishes, as well as coffee and cake.
The supporting program also includes live music: On Saturday afternoon, the band "Jazel" will play. On Sunday, a matinee with the "Swinghunters" starts at 12 noon.
Donation handover in support of social projects
Another highlight is the donation handover on Saturday, September 20th, at 4 p.m. The proceeds from the benefit concert by the "ChrisNomadz Band & Friends" on August 30th at the Geibel'sche Schmiede will benefit the support association of the Darmstadt Clinic and the "Wald 25" initiative. The band waived their fee, and the citizens' association is passing on the proceeds.
