Art, crafts and music at the Geibel'sche Schmiede on 20 and 21 September
On September 20 and 21, 2025, the Eberstadt Citizens' Association invites you to the eighth annual "Open Studio – Journey into the World of the Senses" at the Geibel'sche Schmiede at Oberstraße 20. On both days, artists and artisans will present detailed and unusual one-of-a-kind pieces made from materials such as wood, ceramics, and other raw materials. The objects can not only be viewed but also purchased.
Exhibition with supporting program
The exhibition is open on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food and drink will be available: visitors can look forward to grilled specialties, hearty meals, and coffee and cake.
The supporting program also includes live music: On Saturday, the band "Jazel" will play from the afternoon onward. On Sunday, a matinee with the "Swinghunters" begins at 12 p.m.
Donation handover for social projects
Another highlight will be the donation presentation on Saturday, September 20, at 4 p.m. The proceeds from the benefit concert by the "ChrisNomadz Band & Friends" on August 30 at the Geibel'sche Schmiede will benefit the Darmstadt Hospital's Friends Association and the "Wald 25" initiative. The band waived their fee; the civic association will donate the proceeds.
