Change to SC Prussia Münster completed - the club thanks for the time together
The Swedish striker Oscar Vilhelmsson will no longer appear for SV Darmstadt 98 in the future. After around three years at the club, the 21-year-old switched to SC Prussia Münster. Both clubs have agreed on a transfer.
Sports director Paul Fernie explains: "Oscar's talent and potential are undisputed. Unfortunately, he has thrown him back a few failures in Darmstadt, which means that he could not constantly show his skills over a long time. We keep our fingers crossed that the restart in Münster will benefit his further development. In view of the expiring contract and the financial framework conditions, we have approved the change."
Vilhelmsson came to southern Hesse in the summer of 2022 from the Swedish first division IFK Gothenburg. He played a total of 55 competitive games in the lilies jersey and scored several hits. In the past season he was in 13 games and scored two goals.
SV Darmstadt 98 thanks Oscar Vilhelmsson for his commitment and wishes him all the best for his further way in terms of sport and privately.
