Transfer to SC Preußen Münster completed – club thanks player for the time spent together
Swedish striker Oscar Vilhelmsson will no longer play for SV Darmstadt 98. After approximately three years with the club, the 21-year-old is transferring to SC Preußen Münster. Both clubs have agreed on a transfer.
Sporting director Paul Fernie explains: “Oscar’s talent and potential are undeniable. Unfortunately, several injuries hampered his performance in Darmstadt, preventing him from consistently showcasing his abilities over an extended period. We wish him the best of luck and hope that this fresh start in Münster will benefit his further development. Given his expiring contract and the favorable financial terms, we agreed to the transfer.”
Vilhelmsson joined Darmstadt 98 from Swedish first division club IFK Göteborg in the summer of 2022. He made a total of 55 appearances for the Lilies, scoring several goals. Last season, he played in 13 matches and scored two goals.
SV Darmstadt 98 thanks Oscar Vilhelmsson for his commitment and wishes him all the best for his future, both in sports and in his private life.
