Start in the bathing season with free admission, children's program and regional wine offer
The Goddelau outdoor pool officially starts the bathing season on Saturday, May 17th. Admission is free on this day. The bathroom opens its gates from 10 a.m., the festival program starts at 12 p.m. and runs until 7:30 p.m.
Among other things, the Goddelau Freibad Freibad with sparkling wine and face painting provides entertainment. The time-out bus brings play and sports equipment between 12 noon and 3:30 p.m. as well as a huge kicker. Regional wine from the Palatinate and Rheinhessen is offered for adults - served by the "Woi Mobil" by Frank Cetto (Gude Woi).
Online tickets and new access technology
From May 17th, the bathroom will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available via the online shop at www.riedstadt.de -under "Life in Riedstadt/Schwimmen in Riedstadt" or directly on the homepage. A cash register is available on site, and there is no longer a personal filling of the cash register. The city recommends buying online to avoid waiting times.
A modern access system with a turnstile, personal door and reusable plastic cards have been used for two years. For seasonal and value cards, a one-off deposit will be paid, which are reimbursed when returned.
Admission prices at an overview
The prices remain unchanged compared to the previous year:
- Adults: single entry 4 euros, evening ticket (from 6:30 p.m.) 2 euros, season ticket 70 euros
- Reduced (under 18, students, trainees, volunteer card, people with disabilities ≥50 %): single entry 2 euros, evening ticket 1 euro, season ticket 35 euros
- Free admission: children up to 6 years as well as children with a city pass (under 18 years), children with disabilities (≥50 %)
- Accompanying persons: pay youth tariffs, unless they swim themselves
The end of the bathing season is planned for September 8th.
