Hiking youth find all the hiding places on the varied route
The Easter egg hunt organized by the Odenwald Club Groß-Gerau was once again a great success this year. A total of 18 participants – including many children – took part in the family-friendly hike and enjoyed a varied day in nature.
Games, exercise, and lots of hiding places
The tour started at the Keller Ranch. From there, the route led through a partly mountainous landscape where numerous games and activities awaited the children.
The young participants enthusiastically created a large, colorful Easter egg together, among other things. At each station, the hiking guides Luise and Steffen Pitzer provided new tasks and entertainment.
Easter Bunny well prepared
The "OWK Easter Bunny" had hidden numerous surprises along the route. Many of the hiding places had already been discovered before the lunch break, but the search continued successfully afterwards as well.
After the first leg, the group refreshed themselves at the Aulenberg restaurant before setting out again in search of more small gifts and treats.
A successful finish after five kilometers
After about five kilometers, the hike ended back at the starting point. To conclude the outing, many families took the opportunity to visit the Keller Ranch and its animals.
The organizers drew a thoroughly positive conclusion: The Easter egg hunt offered a successful mix of exercise, play and a shared experience for the whole family.
