Hike in the Palatinate with a view, floral splendor and sunshine
The Odenwaldklub Groß-Gerau was on the weekend in the best weather on the almond flower path between Deidesheim and Gimmeldingen. In bright sunshine, the Palatinate welcomed the hiking group, which was already welcomed on the bus through the hiking management Sigrid and Richard Engel with a small sweet surprise and a suitable drink.
The hike began in the tranquil Deidesheim, where the participants divided into two groups. After a joint start to the vineyards, the paths separated: Group 1 wandered uphill on narrow paths into the forest, while group 2 chose a more comfortable path.
A special highlight was the view of the "Palatinate view" , which offered a wide view of the region. There were minor obstacles to overcome along the way before a rest was inserted clause chapel near Königsbach The path led down into the valley over numerous stairs, past the "Hasenschule" , which already agreed with its loving design on Easter.
Not all almond trees were in full bloom yet, but numerous trees already showed their pink splendor - an impressive spring picture along the almond blossom path . In Gimmeldingen, both groups met again and ended the tour at a stop at the "winemaker club".
Hiking attendant Beate Bolbach thanked Sigrid and Richard Engel for the successful organization of the approximately 12 -kilometer tour , which scored not only with a variety of landscape, but also with optimal conditions and a good atmosphere.
