Clearing work is intended to improve light, air and cleanliness
Today, Monday, February 23, clearing work will begin at the Hofmannstraße parking garage in Darmstadt. The vegetation around the parking garage will be cleared of bushes and hedges, and the area will be cleaned.
The measures will particularly benefit the lower parking deck. The pruning should result in better light penetration and improved ventilation.
Measure against rat infestation
Furthermore, the work aims to combat rat infestations. Illegal dumping of waste, especially in hedgerows, provides rodents with sheltered retreats and a reliable food source. Cleaning and trimming the vegetation should sustainably improve this situation.
