Patrick Nederkoon performs at the halbNeun Theater
On Friday, October 24, 2025 , the Dutch cabaret artist Patrick Nederkoorn his program "The Fleeing Dutchman" at the halbNeun Theater in Darmstadt . The show starts at 8:30 pm .
In a charming, witty, and touching way, Patrick explores the question of which side of the German-Dutch border he would prefer to live on. In a country where cheese and clichés are the norm – or in Holland itself?
In his second German-language program, Nederkoorn combines personal stories with current issues. It deals with borders, love, family, refugees, taxes – and how differences between people can be bridged.
Patrick became known through the SAT.1 show "Die besten Comedians Deutschlands" (Germany's Best Comedians). His first program, "Die orangene Gefahr" (The Orange Peril) was nominated for the Prix Pantheon and won the Komiker Jackpot (Comedian Jackpot ). He also secured placements at the Franconian Cabaret Prize , the Tuttlinger Krähe (Tuttlingen Crow) , and the Reinheimer Satirelöwen (Reinheim Satire Lion) 2023 .
The Bonn General-Anzeiger described him as a "powerful comedian, excellent singer, and born entertainer." With "The Fleeing Dutchman," he once again brings a musical, entertaining, and at the same time profound program to the stage.
