The police headquarters and VdK are offering security training on July 7th
The Senior Citizens' Office, together with the VdK Griesheim local group and the South Hesse Police Headquarters, invites you to a free e-bike riding and safety training course. The event will take place on Monday, July 7th , at 10:00 a.m. The meeting point is the entrance to the Hegelsberg Hall in Griesheim. Participants are asked to bring their own e-bikes.
The training is led by road safety consultant Daniela Raab from the traffic prevention department. It is aimed primarily at older people who want to improve their driving skills and gain more confidence in handling motorized two-wheelers.
E-bikes differ significantly from conventional bicycles: they accelerate faster, weigh more, and brake more slowly. These differences, in particular, lead to uncertainty among many users, especially seniors. The aim of the training is to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and to promote safe handling of the e-bike.
Participation in the training is free of charge . Prior registration is not required.
