Police headquarters and VDK offer security training on July 7th
The senior citizens' office, together with the VDK local group Griesheim and the South Hesse police headquarters, invites you to a free driving and safety training with the pedelec. The event will take place Monday, July 7 , at 10 a.m. The meeting point is the entrance to the Hegelsberghalle in Griesheim. Participants are asked to bring their own pedelec.
Training is directed by traffic safety consultant Daniela Raab from the area of transport prevention. It is aimed primarily at older people who want to improve their driving experience and who want to win more security in dealing with the motor -assisted two -wheeler.
Pedelecs differ significantly from classic bicycles: they accelerate faster, weigh more and brake more slowly. These differences in particular lead to uncertainties for many users, especially in the age of senior citizens. The aim of the training is to recognize individual strengths and weaknesses and to promote a secure handling of the pedelec.
Participation in training is free of charge . A prior registration is not required.
