Hessen Mobil starts construction work on Nieder-Ramstädter Straße
Hessen Mobil that construction work to replace the pedestrian traffic light on Nieder-Ramstädter Straße in Ober-Ramstadt . The project affects the area of state road L 3104 and will start with the installation of a temporary traffic light system.
The work is expected to last until the end of February. During the construction period, traffic will be regulated by a temporary traffic light system, which is scheduled to go into operation next week.
Traffic is reduced to one lane
To carry out the work, the lanes of the state highway near the gas station will be closed alternately. The work will be carried out under a single lane closure at a time. All traffic movements will generally remain open.
During the construction work, the gas station will only be accessible via the "Oberer Schachenmühlenweg" road. In addition, there may be temporary closures of individual sections of the sidewalk.
Barrier-free design and LED technology
As part of this project, the existing traffic light system will be completely renewed. Plans include modern LED lighting and making the pedestrian traffic light accessible for people with disabilities.
The total cost of the construction project amounts to approximately 90,000 euros. The municipality is contributing about 20,000 euros, with the remaining costs being covered by the state of Hesse.
