Artists from the Groß-Gerau district enrich the cultural program from August 22nd to 24th August
International artists from Norway, Colombia and England meet regional talents from the district of Groß-Gerau at the “Volk im Schloss” , which on the site of Schloss Dornberg August 22 to 24, 2025 The organizers deliberately rely on a stage for everyone - from swingtrio to brass band, from theater to hands -on activities.

"The Rubinettes" from Groß-Gerau will start the start on Friday, August 22nd The trio around Barbara Wiebe presents three-part singing in the style of the swing era -with classics of the Andrew Sisters and vintage versions of current pop songs.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Büchnerbühne Riedstadt, led by Christian Suhr, the music theater "Babylon at night - a dance on the volcano" . In this staging, spoken words are dispensed with-it is told exclusively by songs in the style of the 1920s, accompanied by the specially founded Babylonbrass band .
Hands -on activities, award ceremony and diversity of music
For children and families, the festival offers a broad hands -on program:

- Games like Wikinger-Schach, Giant-Jenga and more supervised by time-out e. V.
The Sunday morning begins with the awarding of the Cultural Promotion Prize of the Groß-Gerau district , followed by a matine concert by the Büttelborn wind orchestra -with a musical cross-section through over 670 titles .
Groß-Gerau rock band "Mission Possible" on Sunday evening , which ends the festival with an energetic concert. Christian Döring from Worfelden again leads through the program
Free admission - Festival with the support of the cultural summer of South Hesse
The festival is part of the cultural summer of South Hesse and is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art , the Sparkassen-Kulturstiftung Hessen-Thuringia and Lotto Hessen .
Entry and all program items are free of charge.
