Water pipe renewal completed
After disinfection and successful microbiological testing, the new pipeline in Pfützenstraße went into operation in December 2024.
The renewal of the drinking water pipeline from the intersection of Pfützenstraße and Raiffeisenstraße northwards to Rübgrund Street is now complete. Due to three consecutive water main breaks in Pfützenstraße, the pipeline was replaced starting on November 25th. Because the old pipe was made of a material prone to secondary breaks, increasing the likelihood of further bursts and supply disruptions, a new drinking water pipeline was laid in the middle of the street, and the existing house connections were connected to this new line.
