Förderverein Darmstadt Days of Photography shows staged works from July 4 to August 24th
From July 4 to August 24, 2025, the Stadtkirche Darmstadt the exhibition "imagination" with the work of the Frankfurt photographer per chorn in cooperation with the Darmstadt Days of Photography EV . Two photographic series are shown: "Imagination" and "Stumble / Chameleon" , which impress with their detailed staging, well thought -out lighting and strong narrative imagery.
The opening with an artist discussion take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 7 p.m. A finissage is planned Friday, August 22, 2025, also at 7 p.m.
Schorn's work, often exhibited and excellent, show a film -looking look at scenes that only reveal their full staging during the second look. With meticulous preparation, the photographer creates pictures in which dreams are expressly allowed. The series appear formally very different-one in high, the other in landscape formats-but they combine a central idea: the power of the performance.
The exhibition is open on Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Admission is free.
