Change of leadership: Criminal director follows Tim Heinen
There was a change at the top at the Groß-Gerau police department: Criminal Director Florian Steinkopf was officially introduced to his new office on Tuesday (April 1) by police chief Björn Gutzeit. He succeeds police director Tim Heinen, who has moved to Darmstadt-Eberstadt for the deportation of the deportation.
"With Florian Steinkopf, an experienced police officer takes over the management management. The police department Groß-Gerau is in the best hands with him," said police chief Gutzeit.
Experience in various management functions
The 47-year-old Florian Steinkopf has been working in the police service since 2000. After his time in the patrol service in Offenbach and Frankfurt, he completed a master's degree and then switched to the crime service. This was followed by management functions, among other things, at the crime inspections in Offenbach and in the Main-Kinzig district , in the department staff of the Frankfurt police headquarters and most recently at the Gießen police department , where he was already responsible for the management of the official business.
"I look forward to moving to the South Hesse police headquarters and working with my new colleagues every day for security in the Groß-Gerau district," said Steinkopf in his inauguration.

Florian Steinkopf lives with his family in Frankfurt , is the father of two school-age children and in his free time enthusiastic fitness athletes , film and series fan as well as coffee lovers .
