Police invite young people and accompanying persons to an information event on December 15th.
The South Hesse Police are offering interested students from the 10th grade onwards, as well as their parents and other important caregivers, a comprehensive insight into the police profession on December 15, 2025. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the South Hesse Police Headquarters in Darmstadt .
The aim of the evening is to provide guidance to young people and their companions regarding career choices and to introduce the diverse activities of the Hessian police force. In addition to information on the requirements and structure of the dual study program , participants will gain insights into various specialist areas – including police dog training , operational training , and crime scene investigation . Parents will also have the opportunity to learn about career paths and the working conditions of a police profession.
Registration required by December 14th.

A prerequisite is fulfilling or achieving the requirements for the dual study program of the Hessian police. Information on this can be found on the police's official website at karriere.polizei.hessen.de/voraussetzungen/ .
The following information must be included for registration:
- Name and surname
- Address
- birth date
- Mobile phone number
- (desired) school leaving certificate
- Number of accompanying persons (maximum two)
Only fully completed applications can be considered.
