Literary group celebrates anniversary with new texts and live music by Stephanie Wagner
Darmstadt. The South Hessian literary group POSEIDON is turning 20 – and celebrating its anniversary with a series of special events. Following readings in the city church and at the PEN Center Germany, continue on Thursday, September 5, 2025 , with a workshop reading at the HoffART Theater Darmstadt .
From 7:30 pm onwards, the authors of the group will present their latest literary works – unpublished texts, straight from the creative workshop.

Participants include: Stefan Benz, PH Gruner, Finn Holitzka, Andreas Roß, Tamara Krappmann, Sebastian Kienitz, Barbara Zeizinger, Frank Schuster , and Marc Mandel . The event offers a fascinating glimpse into current literary production from southern Hesse – diverse, contemporary, and bold.
Music meets literature: Stephanie Wagner as a musical guest
The evening will be accompanied by renowned jazz flautist and composer Stephanie Wagner . The award-winning musician from the Bergstrasse region is known, among other things, for her work with the international quartet "playground4" and the duo "Flute 'n' Bass" with Darmstadt music prize winner Norbert Dömling . Her album "Traces" German Record Critics' Award in 2023 – a musical highlight of the evening is guaranteed.
