Postal voting documents can be applied for online from February 2nd
For the local elections and the election of the Foreign Residents' Advisory Council on Sunday, March 15, 2026, eligible voters in Griesheim can online postal voting portal until Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Alternatively, postal voting documents can also be requested by mail. Personal applications can also be submitted at the town hall until Friday, March 13, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. In special cases – for example, in the event of a proven sudden illness – an application can even be submitted on election day itself, Sunday, March 15, until 3:00 p.m.
Election notices are expected to be sent to all eligible voters between February 2nd and 22nd, 2026. Those registered to vote can also vote in person at the town hall from February 2nd onwards, even without an election notice. An official identification document is required. The election office will provide a voting booth at the town hall for this purpose.
