On February 23, 2025, the early election for the 21st German Bundestag will take place. The district town of Groß-Gerau informs all voters that the application and collection of postal voting documents are now possible. All voters who have already applied for the postal voting documents by February 6 receive the postal voting documents from the election office by post. The postal voting documents were handed over for shipping on February 6th.
Collection of the postal voting documents
Voters can pick up their postal voting documents without an appointment and without prior notice in the election office in the town house (Am Marktplatz 1) at the following times:
Monday to Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All voters are asked to bring their ID card to them.
Additional opening times in the city office
In order to enable as many voters as possible, the city office is also open on two Saturdays:
Saturday, February 8, 2025: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Saturday, February 15, 2025: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Direct voting possible
In the town house and in the city office there is also the possibility to carry out the choice directly when the postal voting documents are picked up. A voting cabin and a ballot box are available for this.
