The early election for the 21st German Bundestag will take place on February 23, 2025. The district town of Groß-Gerau informs all eligible voters that applications for and collection of postal voting documents are now possible. All eligible voters who applied for postal voting documents by February 6 will receive them by mail from the electoral office. The postal voting documents were handed over for dispatch on February 6.
Collection of postal voting documents
Eligible voters can collect their postal voting documents without an appointment and without prior notice at the election office in the town hall (Am Marktplatz 1) at the following times:
Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m
Thursday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
All voters are asked to bring their identity card.
Additional opening hours at the city office
To enable as many eligible voters as possible to vote by mail, the city office will be open on two additional Saturdays:
Saturday, February 8, 2025: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m
Saturday, February 15, 2025: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Direct voting possible
At the town hall and the city office, it is also possible to cast your vote directly when collecting your postal voting documents. A voting booth and a ballot box are available for this purpose.
