From swing to musical cabaret: Four open-air concerts at special locations in the city
The popular Promenade returns in June, bringing music from a wide variety of genres to Darmstadt's most beautiful open-air venues. Folk, pop, rock, German hits, swing, and musical cabaret will provide musical variety on four Sundays – featuring local and regionally renowned artists.

Sunday, June 1st, 11 a.m. – Kiosk 1975 (Postsiedlung)
Sopranixen (in cooperation with Zusammen in der Postsiedlung eV )
Music cabaret with singer Julia Kristin Gauß and pianist Natalia Bashtanenko – with lightness, wit and biting lyrics in a stylistic crossover.
Sunday, June 8, 11 a.m. – Bandstand in the Herrngarten
Mammas & Babbas (in cooperation with Herrngartencafé by Herz & Hopfen )
Under the motto “Music from all strings” they present oldies, pop classics and new songs – acoustic and electric, in English and Spanish.
Sunday, June 15, 4 p.m. – Canopy of the Rosarium, Rosenhöhe Park
The Superego / Fritz Stock and Friends (in cooperation with Förderverein Park Rosenhöhe eV )
Musical readings with award-winning short stories and soulful singer-songwriter pieces – live with bass, guitar, keyboard and cajon.
Sunday, June 22, 11 a.m. – Bandstand in the Herrngarten
The Swinging Tuxedos feat. Petra Bassus (in cooperation with Herrngartencafé by Herz & Hopfen )
Jazz programs from “Jazzing Around the Globe” to “Economic Miracle Times”, interpreted by Petra Bassus with accompanying band – musically diverse, multilingual and stylistically adept.
