Latin, brass, guitar music and singer-songwriters at the open-air concerts
The Darmstadt Promenade Concerts will continue in September 2026. A total of four concerts are scheduled over three Sundays at various locations throughout the city. The series kicks off on September 6th with two events in the Postsiedlung and Wixhausen districts.
At 11 a.m. on Sunday, September 6th, Salón Latino will be performing at Kiosk 1975 in the Postsiedlung housing estate. The concert is being held in cooperation with Zusammen in der Postsiedlung eV.
The event continues at 4 p.m. on the same day in Wixhausen. Brass-on-Mission will perform at the former branch of the Georg-August-Zinn School on Ostendstraße. Cooperation partners are the German Red Cross Active Seniors Wixhausen Association and the Darmstadt Music Office.
Concerts in the Orangery Garden and the Herrngarten
A week later, on Sunday, September 13th, Git on Boa'D perform at 11:00 AM on the concert stage in the Orangerie Garden. The concert is being organized in cooperation with the Darmstadt Music Office.
The September program concludes on Sunday, September 20th, with a performance by singer-songwriter Reiner Z.His concert begins at 11 a.m. in the bandstand in the Herrngarten. The Herrngarten Café is a partner in this event.
Since the promenade concerts take place outdoors, weather-related changes are possible at any time. The City of Darmstadt also advises attendees to take appropriate heat protection measures in case of high temperatures.
