New regulations from 2025 - what property owners need to know
The district town of Groß-Gerau has already sent the property tax notices at the beginning of the year. In this context, the city points out that it only has an impact on the lifting rates - this is currently 580.35 percentage points.
Property tax B and C: New regulations in Hessen
tax B applies to undeveloped and built-up properties that are not part of agriculture and forestry- including condominiums . From 2025, new regulations for property tax B and property tax C will apply in Hessen , based on the area-factor procedure .
For property owners, this means:
- the future, only the size of the property (floor area) and the living space be specified in the tax return
- In the case of mixed buildings, the rooms be declared according to their use.
