Carnival clubs symbolically take over until Ash Wednesday
In Griesheim, the carnival season also takes hold in the town hall: On Thursday, February 12th, the carnival clubs traditionally storm the town hall and symbolically take over the regency until Ash Wednesday.
For this reason, the town hall will close at 12:30 pm . The open consultation hours of the administration will be cancelled, as will the regular consultation hours of the local court , which normally take place from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Citizens are asked to take this into account in their planning.
