Author presented historical novel “The Reinoldus Saga”
reading matinee with Dr. Reinhold Kittelberger took place at the Biebesheim Local History Museum . Museum director Norbert Hefermehl welcomed numerous guests who filled the museum's multifunctional space.

Reading from four parts of the “Reinoldus Saga”
Kittelberger read from his historical novel "The Reinoldus Saga – The Sinner and the Saint," which is divided into four sections: Legend, Caliphate, Pilgrimage, and the Frankish Empire. He presented selected passages from each section. The end of the book also includes an epilogue, a character description, a map, and historical background information.
Personal connection to South Hesse
In his welcoming remarks, museum director Hefermehl explained how the reading came about: He and Kittelberger, who now lives in New Zealand, attended secondary school in Gernsheim together in the 1960s. They remained in contact over the years, partly through discussions about regional history in the 8th century, which plays a role in the novel.

Deniz Tabak provided musical accompaniment for the matinee . Following the performance, Reinhold Kittelberger signed numerous copies of his novel, which were purchased by the audience.
The book "The Reinoldus Saga – The Sinner and the Saint" is now available in bookstores.
