Literature in a special setting: Thriller evening in the gatehouse
Extraordinary stories meet an extraordinary setting: On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Darmstadt-born author, radio playwright, and director Ivar Leon Menger at the gatehouse of Dornberg Castle in Groß-Gerau. The SPIEGEL bestselling author will read from his thrillers and offer insights into the creation of his works.
The evening will focus on readings as well as discussions about collaborations with publishers, awards, and the role of social media in today's literary scene. The event will be complemented by personal insights from the author and an open discussion with the audience.
The event is organized by the Groß-Gerau Adult Education Center . It begins at 7 p.m. and lasts approximately two hours, including a break. Registration is required and can be done via the Groß-Gerau Adult Education Center website. The participation fee is five euros.
