New traffic education trailer for children officially handed over
Weiterstadt. A new traffic education trailer, dubbed "The Red Knight," is now available for traffic education in Weiterstadt. Equipped with scooters, balance bikes, traffic signs, and learning materials, designed to teach children safe road use in a playful way.
Last week, the vehicle was officially handed over to Mayor Ralf Möller . The trailer was presented by Helge Franken , Director of Fleet at Sovereign Speed . The donation is part of a nationwide initiative by the Children's Accident Assistance Campaign , which has been promoting child safety on the road since 2010 with the "Red Knight" prevention award.
Award-winning traffic education for daycare centers and elementary schools
The trailer will be used events and for road safety education in kindergartens and elementary schools teaching traffic rules in a playful way and promoting safe mobility from a young age.
Support through local contact
The connection was made by Thorsten Döring , fleet manager at Sovereign Speed in Frankfurt and resident in the Schneppenhausen .
"This trailer is a great support for our traffic education work. Our children learn how to navigate safely in traffic through play. I would like to thank Sovereign Speed for this commitment—and also Mr. Döring for his personal dedication," said Mayor Ralf Möller at the handover.
