The event on May 10th invites you to participate, exchange ideas and repair
Under the motto "Repair instead of discard," the Eberstadt Repair Café invites everyone to participate again on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. In the premises of Werkhof Darmstadt eV (Grenzallee 4–6), broken appliances, bicycles, clothing, or small pieces of furniture can be repaired together with volunteer experts.
New this year: a presentation on 3D printing technology , where interested parties can experience its practical application firsthand. Expert consultants will provide insights into the technology's potential for repair and spare parts production.
, Foodsharing Darmstadt e.V. also provides rescued food. The neighborhood café offers cake, coffee, tea, and mineral water, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
The Repair Café is a joint project of the Eberstadt Senior Citizens' Network , the City of Darmstadt , the (Werkhof Darmstadt eV) Nala project , and the Caritas Center Eberstadt South . Its aim is to promote sustainability, conserve resources, and strengthen community ties in Eberstadt.
