New toys and handcarts for the children's country in Riedstadt-Goddelau
Riedstadt-Goddelau. Great joy among the children of the Kinderland : thanks to a donation from the Riedstadt repair café, the facility was able to buy new sand toys and a practical handcart. The colorful ice bag shapes and suitable ice cream cubes are particularly popular with which the children's sand ice café has now been reopened.
"Finally new sand toys - we can now open our ice cream parlor again," said KitAleiter Yvonne Dickler with a smile at the handover. Ute Nold-Stenzel , Uwe Stenzel and Günter Kleinwächter were there to get an idea of using their donation.
In addition to high-quality sandpit toys, new children's street brooms and a robust, foldable handcart purchased, which can wear up to 100 kilograms. "Now we are fit for our next trips," says Dickler. Even before the official handover, the street brooms had to be released because the children could hardly wait to try them out.
The repair café donates the income from a donation box and from the sale of coffee and cake to social facilities for children in Riedstadt at regular intervals. It was founded in the summer of 2019 by the master of electricity Uwe Stenzel, his wife Ute Nold-Stenzel and other committed people under the motto "That might be possible again-too good to throw away" .
Defective household classes can be brought past on Saturdays in the repair café in the old town hall of Crumstadt , Poppenheimer Straße 1 for free repairs-only spare parts are to be paid for themselves. Toys in need of repair are also welcome.
