Experience sustainability in practice: Repair instead of throwing away at the Weiterstadt Community Center
On Saturday, September 13, 2025 , the city of Weiterstadt invites you to its Repair Café . From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., visitors to the Weiterstadt Community Center repair broken everyday items with the assistance of volunteers.
At the Repair Café, experienced repair experts are available to work together to find solutions. The goal is to give broken things a second life, avoid waste, and conserve valuable resources. At the same time, the event offers a space for encounters and exchange.
Under the motto “Repair instead of throwing away,” the Repair Café promotes the sustainable use of everyday objects and makes an important contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation in Weiterstadt.
Participation is free and possible without registration.
