Experience sustainability in practice: Repair instead of discard at the Weiterstadt community center
On Saturday, September 13, 2025 , the city of Weiterstadt will once again host its Repair Café . From 2 pm to 5 pm, visitors can repair broken everyday items at the Weiterstadt Civic Center with the support of volunteer helpers.
At the Repair Café, experienced repair experts are on hand to find solutions together. The goal is to give broken items a second life, avoid waste, and conserve valuable resources. At the same time, the event offers a space for meeting and exchanging ideas.
Under the motto "Repair instead of throw away", the Repair Café contributes to a sustainable approach to everyday objects and makes an important contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation in Weiterstadt.
Participation is free and possible without registration.
