New afternoon program for children and adults interested in animals and nature
"Researcher Camp" at the Vivarium Zoo on Tuesday, April 22nd . The program is aimed at children and adults who are enthusiastic about animals and nature and takes place – except during school holidays – on weekday afternoons in the zoo school Dr. Frank Velte is in charge .
The research camp is open Monday to Friday from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm . Registration is not required; regular zoo admission . If a session is cancelled, this will be announced via notices at the zoo school and the zoo entrance.
Overview of weekly topics:
- Monday: Reptiles as pets
- Tuesday: Native birds
- Wednesday: Native insects
- Thursday: Life in a drop of water – Microscopy
- Friday: How to set up an aquarium
