Cultural highlights from July to September 2025 - exhibition, reading, festival and family program
Whether art, literature or music: The newly published cultural program of the Büchnerstadt Riedstadt for the third quarter of 2025 brings summer lightness and cultural diversity. From a children's book reading to a maritime-inspired art exhibition to a dialect anniversary or a festival in the open air-there is something for all age groups. The booklet is distributed free of charge to all households and is also available online.
Exhibition "Meerweh" opens the cultural summer
It starts with the vernissage of the exhibition "Meerweh" by Katja Göhring on Saturday, July 5, at 2:30 p.m. in the staircase gallery of the town hall . With her pictures, the artist brings the longing for the sea to the Hessian inland - admission is free.
Crime hike with wine tasting and literature for children
On July 2 from "Dr. Brumm goes hiking" as part of a children's lecture -at 3 p.m. in the Büchnerscheune at the Büchnerhaus. A week later, on August 23 , we go to the vineyards of Essenheim: Author and winemaker Andreas Wagner invites you to a crime thriller walk with a reading and wine tasting.
Artisjok Theater also guest in the quarter: On September 26th, "Lieselotte makes vacation" brings it to the Christoph Bär-Halle.
Anniversary, festival and musical dialect
It will be home on September 13th when the duo "Bees Denäwe" occurs in the Wolfskehlen local museum- for the 40th anniversary of the local and history association. The music evening begins at 7 p.m. The Wutzdog Festival place at the Bensheimerhof a week earlier, on September 6th eight live bands , hands-on activities and offers for children and adolescents.
