Company donates 250 euros for gifts for needy children
As the town of Riedstadt, known for its connection to Büchner, reports, this year's Wishing Tree campaign is receiving additional support from Funke Kunststoffe GmbH in Heiligkreuzsteinach. The company is foregoing Christmas gifts and instead donating €250 to the social project. The symbolic check was presented to Mayor Marcus Kretschmann and Tanja Demuth, Chair of the Works Council and Coordinator of the campaign.
Donation enables additional Christmas gifts
The Wishing Tree campaign is aimed at demonstrably needy children from Riedstadt. The donation will allow for the purchase of additional gifts, which will then be distributed to the children whose wishes have been granted. Mayor Kretschmann thanked the company for its support and the social responsibility it is demonstrating.
Long-standing support from the region
In addition to Funke Kunststoffe, the company Baumann Gärten & Freiräume from Griesheim has also been supporting the initiative for several years with generous donations. The city sees this as an important sign of regional solidarity for families in need.
