Quiz champion wanted: Goddelauerin competes against celebrities on ZDF-with home connection
A candidate from Riedstadt-Goddelau competes to become "Quiz-Champion" on ZDF-and focuses on the Büchnerhaus. On Saturday, March 22, from 8:15 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. and on Saturday, March 29, from 8:15 p.m. to 11:15 p.m., a "Federal State Special" of the popular quiz show will take place on ZDF. There the Riedstadt fought for the title and 100,000 euros in prize money.
After a high -speed questionnaire, she competes against prominent experts in five areas of knowledge. Only those who choose all duels can move into the final as a quiz champion. If there are several candidates, a jump -off in the grand finale will follow at the end of the second episode.
The Goddelau candidate paid particular attention to her home town - more precisely on Georg Büchner's birthplace. In the ceremony, which introduces all participants, she expressly wanted the Büchnerhaus in Goddelau become part of the TV presentation. A ZDF team was on site for the shooting.
"After almost two hours of shooting on the premises and in the building of the Büchnerhaus, it remains to be seen how many seconds will actually be broadcast on ZDF," said club chairman Werner Schmidt from Büchnerfindstett eV - the Büchnerhaus folder association - with a wink. Regardless of the length of the TV contribution, the association is pleased about Germany-wide attention: "This is a great publicity for the Büchnerhaus and Riedstadt," emphasizes Schmidt. "Of course we keep our fingers crossed for the Goddelau candidate!"
