On the grounds of the Martin Niemöller School, clubs and the youth office provided a colorful program of activities
Martin Niemöller School were transformed into a joyful playground for children, teenagers, and their families on Wednesday, May 28th. Numerous hands-on activities, a colorful stage program, and educational offerings made the Riedstadt Children's Festival 2025 a special afternoon – organized by the Youth Office in cooperation with many local associations.
The rain couldn't dampen the good spirits: with dancing, games, and creative activities, the weather was literally "danced away." Whether on the barefoot path, crafting, or playing the can toss game – the festival appealed to all the senses and invited active participation.
A special offering was the children's and youth consultation hour with Mayor Marcus Kretschmann , who mingled directly with the young visitors at a table. "This offer is only for children and young people," Kretschmann joked in his welcoming remarks, before answering many curious questions.
volunteer fire department's fire show was a real crowd-pleaser , impressively demonstrating just how dangerous a grease fire can be – including important tips on how to react correctly. Environmental protection was also part of the program: children and teenagers learned how to properly separate waste in a fun and engaging way.
With dancing, games and learning opportunities, the children's festival offered not only entertainment but also numerous inspirations – a successful start to the holiday and a celebration that many will remember for a long time.
