Logistics company DSV supports volunteering with weatherproof clothing
The volunteer drivers of the "Rikschat tours" , a project by the Volunteering Agency in Weiterstadt, can look forward to generous support: The logistics company DSV Air & Sea Germany GmbH from Weiterstadt has donated high -quality, weatherproof clothing - including winter jackets, fleece jackets and other equipment.
The clothing donation enables the volunteers to continue their tours safely and comfortably even in cold or rainy weather.
Trips for more joie de vivre
The range of rickschat tours is aimed at senior citizens in Weiterstadt.
- On Tuesdays, trips to the old dormitory Ohlystift take place in Gräfenhausen
- Twice a week it goes to the St. Ludwig in Braunshardt
- Additional tours take place on special occasions such as the Mit-Mach Day or the neighborhood festival in the Riedbahn
15 trained drivers are regularly committed to the project and enable moving encounters and experiences for older people - in the sense of more participation and mobility in old age.
