Cityring, Landgraf-Georg and Alexanderstrasse affected- diversions set up
Due to the castle grave festival in 2025, extensive road closures in the inner city area from Thursday, June 5th to Monday, June 9th . The following sections are affected:
- Cityring (Holzstraße / Schlossgraben / Zeughausstraße) between Pädagogstraße and Schleiermacherstraße
- Landgraf-Georg-Straße between Pützerstraße and Schlossgraben
- Alexanderstrasse between Magdalenenstraße and Zeughausstraße
Times of the closures:
- Thursday, June 5, 5 p.m. to Friday, June 6th, 5 a.m.
- Friday, June 6th, 4 p.m. to Saturday, June 7th, 5 a.m.
- Saturday, June 7th, 2 p.m. to Monday, June 9, 5 a.m.
The castle garages cannot be approached during the blocking times . Depending on the traffic situation, the lock can also set up prematurely .
Dererance:
detour routes are recommended for the eastern direction of travel :
- Landgraf-Georg-Straße → Teichhausstraße → Nieder-Ramstädter Straße
- Landgraf-Georg-Straße → Pützerstraße → Heinheimer Straße → Rhönring

- The taxi stands on Ernst-Ludwigs-Platz / Weißer Tower out of operation from Monday, June 2, 7 a.m. to Wednesday, June 11, 7 a.m.
- The other parking garages on the City tunnel without restriction via Frankfurter Straße and Mathildenplatz
