Road resurfacing between Eifelring and Robert-Bosch-Straße – full closure until November 28th
Darmstadt. Starting Monday, November 17, 2025 , the City of Darmstadt extensive roadworks on Maria-Goeppert-Straße between Eifelring and Robert-Bosch-Straße . The work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, November 28 .
In the affected section, the severely damaged road surface over an area of approximately 2,000 square meters . The area will be completely closed . Depending on the direction of travel and destination, traffic will be diverted via designated detours .
Overview of detours
- Coming from the B26/Griesheim via the Eifelring: Access to Maria-Goeppert-Straße is closed. Traffic is being diverted via Dornheimer Weg .
- Coming from Michaelisstraße: At the intersection of Michaelisstraße/Dornheimer Weg, the detour to the motorway is via Dornheimer Weg and Zweifalltorweg into Rheinstraße heading out of town towards the A5/A67.
- Coming from Rheinstraße via Maria-Goeppert-Straße: The road is closed. Vehicles are being diverted via Robert-Bosch-Straße , Zweifalltorweg and Dornheimer Weg.
The city of Darmstadt asks road users for caution and understanding Traffic disruptions are to be expected during the construction period .
