The city of Griesheim plans further work until 2026
Griesheim. Work on the road construction in the southwest residential area . dismantling of the construction road Sophie-Scholl-Straße began last week . Currently, the old asphalt is being removed using an asphalt milling machine . The new asphalt surface at the end of August 2025 .
In the second construction phase, further streets in the residential area will follow: Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße , Marie-Curie-Straße , the southern part of Sophie-Scholl-Straße , and next year Anne-Frank-Straße in the area along the natural dune .
The city of Griesheim provides regular updates on the construction progress in the southwest residential area.
