Renovation work between Barkhausstraße and Rhönring is planned to last until April 11th
The city of Darmstadt is renovating Robert-Schneider-Straße in the section between Barkhausstraße and Rhönring. The work will begin on Monday, March 31, 2025, and is expected to last until Friday, April 11, 2025.
As part of this project, the asphalt surface layer renewed. Additionally, street inlets , valve covers , and the drainage channel repaired. The work covers an area of approximately 800 square meters . The construction costs amount to about €66,500 .
Roadway completely closed – sidewalks remain open
During the construction work, the roadway of Robert-Schneider-Straße will be completely closed . The sidewalk will remain open throughout. Road users are asked to avoid the area and to pay attention to the detour signs .
