Benefit concert on August 30th for Darmstadt Hospital and WALD25
Following its successful launch in May, the "Rock in the Forge" organized by the Eberstadt Citizens' Association, on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the Chris Nomadz Band from Darmstadt will perform at the Geibel Forge, supported by another band.
Rock, blues and hard rock in a unique setting
The Chris Nomadz Band describes their style as a mix of gritty blues rock and hard rock. Their repertoire includes both original compositions and cover versions. Guitarist and singer Chris shapes the band's sound with his voice and playing, while bassist Anny and drummer Fred provide the groove and driving force.
The concert takes place in the rustic setting of the Geibel blacksmith's shop, which gives the series its special flair.
Music for a good cause
The benefit concert's motto is "Music is good for you ." The bands are waiving their fees; half of all ticket proceeds will go to the Darmstadt Clinic's support association WALD25 initiative .
The support association assists the hospital with important purchases and projects that are not covered by the regular budget. WALD25, in turn, creates innovative and nature-based activities in Eberstadt that bring people of all ages together.
