Acoustic rock classics on February 21st at the Geibelsche Schmiede in Eberstadt
The Geibel blacksmith shop kicks off its "Rock in the Forge" season with a new concert evening. On Saturday, February 21, 2026, starting at 8 p.m., the band Strings'N'Voices will perform an acoustic set. The venue is the Geibel blacksmith shop at Oberstraße 20 in Darmstadt-Eberstadt.
The blacksmith's shop has established itself as a special venue for select live music over the past year. The combination of historical ambiance and club-like atmosphere provides excellent conditions for concerts of various genres. The Eberstadt Citizens' Association deliberately focuses on individual musical highlights throughout the year rather than continuous background music.
Acoustic classics of rock and pop history
The opening event of 2026 will be an evening with Strings'N'Voices . Marina Steinmetz-Ecker, Uwe Steinmetz, and Lothar Will will present well-known rock and pop classics in acoustic arrangements. The focus is on multi-part vocals and a guitar. The program includes songs from the 1980s by bands such as Toto, Queen, and Bon Jovi – stripped down to three voices and acoustic accompaniment.
The stylish arrangements and the band's enthusiasm for playing characterize the evening and build on the concept of "Rock in the Forge", which deliberately allows musical contrasts.
Organization and tickets
Doors open at 7 pm, concert starts at 8 pm. The event is standing room only; seating is unreserved. Tickets are available at the door for €10. Advance reservations can be made by email.
The catering team of the Eberstadt Citizens' Association will provide drinks and small snacks.
