Benefit concert on August 30 for Darmstadt Hospital and WALD25
After its successful launch in May, the Eberstadt Citizens' Association "Rock in the Forge" on Saturday, August 30, 2025. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the Chris Nomadz Band from Darmstadt will perform at the Geibelsche Schmiede—supported by another band from their own group.
Rock, blues and hard rock in a special ambience
The Chris Nomadz Band describes their style as a blend of snotty blues rock and hard rock. Their repertoire includes both original compositions and cover versions. Guitarist and singer Chris shapes the band's sound with his voice and playing, while bassist Anny and drummer Fred provide the groove and punch.
The concert takes place in the rustic setting of the Geibelsche Schmiede, which creates the special flair of the series.
Music for a good cause
The benefit concert's motto is "Music does GOOD ." The bands are waiving their fees; half of all ticket proceeds will go to the Darmstadt Hospital's Friends Association and the WALD25 .
The support association supports the hospital with important purchases and projects that are not covered by the regular budget. WALD25, in turn, creates creative and nature-based activities in Eberstadt that bring people of all ages together.
