An evening between rock, emotion and narrative art awaits the audience on Friday, May 16, 2025, in the traditional artist cellar in Darmstadt. From 8:30 p.m. Axel Balke and Alex Stix will present their concept album Creatures' Opera - A story in the key of rock - live and in a special atmosphere.
The rock opera, which has been available on all major streaming platforms since October 2024, musically refers to the legend of the Frankenstein Castle. The focus is on a modern story about prejudices, distrust and the power of reconciliation. Each title of the album tells its own chapter in which intensive emotions merge with the energy classic rocks.
The event is much more than a concert: In a moderated panel discussion, the musicians give exclusive insights into the creation of the album - from the first idea to the final publication. Anecdotes from the studio, creative phrases in the writing process and selected listening examples let the guests share their development up close.
The artist's team takes care of the physical well -being with a culinary accompanying program. An evening for rock fans, those interested in music and everyone who appreciates special live experiences.
