The Parks Department demonstrates proper care and pruning techniques
The Darmstadt Parks Department is offering two rose pruning courses at Rosenhöhe in March. The events will take on Friday, March 13th, at 2 pm and on Saturday, March 14th, at 9 am , and each will last approximately one and a half hours.
Tips on pruning, care and plant protection
Employees of the city's parks department demonstrate to participants how to properly prune roses so they can develop their full floral display. They also provide practical advice on planting, care, fertilization, and pest control for roses.
Participation and registration
The courses are weather dependent and the number of participants is limited to 15 people per date .

The participation fee is ten euros per person and must be paid on site before the start of the course.
The meeting point is the entrance to the rose garden on Rosenhöhe . Participants are asked rose shears and gloves .
