Event on June 26th brings companies, sponsors and schools in Darmstadt together
Access to training remains a major challenge for many young people with a need for support, migration history or without school - despite a shortage of skilled workers. The round table training 2025 of the science city of Darmstadt wants to start here: On Thursday, June 26 , representatives from companies meet in the Justus-Liebig-Haus , chambers, schools, administration and supporters of youth welfare to develop ideas and strategies together for an inclusive training practice.
The event is organized by the youth welfare office of the Science City of Darmstadt , Department of Child and Youth Promotion, in cooperation with municipal employment funding . The methodical accompaniment takes over the Darmstadt agency quäntchen + Glück .
Encounter at eye level as a central element
"The round table training lives from the encounter at eye level," emphasizes Mayor and Social Affairs Director Barbara Akdeniz . "Anyone who speaks together often discover common goals and new opportunities. Our goal is to achieve people with a need for support and to shape viable ways together in training. All sides benefit from this."
The focus of the meeting is:
- Getting to know each other between educational partners,
- the showing common challenges,
- as well as the initiation of new forms of cooperation.
Participation & registration
The event takes from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Justus Liebig-Haus. Are invited:
- Training companies from Darmstadt and the region,
- Chambers and professional associations,
- Youth welfare carrier,
- Schools, teachers and school social work,
- Vocational counseling and vocational training specialists.
