The Darmstadt Citizens' Foundation will inform senior citizens on March 17th
Elderly people are frequently targeted by con artists who use the "grandchild scam," shock calls, or impersonation of police officers to try to swindle them out of their savings. To raise awareness of these dangers, the Darmstadt Citizens' Foundation , together with the South Hesse Police Headquarters' Advisory Center, a free information event on crime prevention .

☕ Note: Participation is free, coffee and cake will be provided.
Topics of the event:
- How can senior citizens recognize and avoid fraud attempts?
- What current scams are criminals using?
- How should one behave in case of suspected infection?
Police experts will give valuable tips on prevention and answer participants' questions.
