WCGTour achieved 802 euros for children with cancer - gross wins go to Traisa and Heitlinger
Mühltal. The fourth edition of the "Salvos Gastro-Cup" as part of the Wiest Charity Golf Tour (WCGTour) was also a complete success in 2025. On the grounds of the Golf Club Darmstadt Traisa, over fifty golfers competed last Saturday to play for a good cause. The 18-hole tournament was the eighth event of this year's series and, despite the mixed weather forecasts, was held in largely good conditions.
The team around the Salvo family family ensured culinary strengthening on Halfway before the winners were honored in the evening on the club terrace. Sigunde Plösser (GC Darmstadt Traisa) and Stephan Pertschy (Heitlinger Golfresort) secured the gross victory Both thus qualified for the big final tournament of the WcGtour on August 9 in the Golfersort Gernsheim.
The game was played again this year: for birdies, pars and bogeys 362 euros came together to the association for cancer and chronically ill children Darmstadt / Rhein-Main-Neckar e. V. (VKKD) . Another 440 euros were collected as part of the evening event - a total of a donation of 802 euros .
The penultimate tournament of the ongoing WCGTour season will take place on Tuesday, July 29, in the Zimmerer Golf Club-this time as a "after-work foursome".
