Donation supports equipment for the exercise room in Wallerstädten
WALLERSTÄDTEN – The children and team of the daycare center " Hinter dem Hof" in Wallerstädten experienced a special joy: SD VerkehrsMedien Hessen GmbH handed over a donation of 500 euros , which will be used for the equipment of the movement room.
The donation was presented by Christin Köhne , Media Sales & Project Management at the SD Group, to kindergarten director Stephanie Preisler . The kindergarten plans to purchase a hanging swing. "The hanging swing will offer the children a variety of opportunities – both as a means of physical activity and for relaxation," explained Preisler.
The SD Group is currently collaborating with the town of Groß-Gerau on a project in which two buses in the district have been wrapped with large-scale advertising. Under the motto "Get on board and join in," the project aims to raise awareness of the work being done in the town's daycare centers and to address the shortage of qualified staff. "We are very grateful to the town of Groß-Gerau for their trust and excellent cooperation. With this donation, we also want to give something back to the region – the money stays here in the district," said Köhne.
In addition to the financial contribution, the SD Group had an extra surprise for the children: bus-shaped pasta and Haribo sweets, also packaged in bus shapes, brought smiles to their faces.
The Hinter dem Hof currently cares for 40 children aged two to six. Six early childhood educators support the children within an open-concept setting, with a particular focus on movement and relaxation. This summer, nine children graduated from primary school. The planned purchase of a hanging swing will further enhance the center's offerings.
